He was born in 1968. He completed primary and high school in Istanbul. He graduated from Gülhane Military Medical Academy Medical Faculty in 1992. He served in Cyprus Turkish Peace Forces Command between 1993-1995. He completed his Internal Medicine specialty training between 1995-1999. He worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist at Çorlu Military Hospital between 1999-2003. In 2001, he served at the Kosovo KFOR Command, within NATO. He completed his Medical Oncology Minor Specialist training between 2003-2006. Applied Flow Cytometry training at Istanbul University (DETAE) in 2004, Basic Epidemiology (Health Research Methods and Analysis Techniques) course at GATA Command in 2005, and Ethics in Clinical Research organized by the General Directorate of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmacy in 2009 and 2017 He completed the approach courses. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2007. He was entitled to receive the title of Associate Professor in 2011. He worked as GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital Internal Medicine Service Medical Oncology Department Chief between 2012-2017. He became a Professor at Istanbul Okan University in 2017. He also served as the Head of Internal Diseases Department, Internal Diseases and Medical Oncology Departments and the Head of Medical Ethics Committee at Istanbul Okan University Faculty of Medicine between 2017-2019. Dr. Bülent Karagöz is married and has one child.
